Sydney Metro is committed to increasing the participation of Aboriginal businesses within its supply chain as part of delivering Australia’s biggest public transport project.

You are invited to attend Sydney Metro’s fourth Aboriginal Business Forum, which brings together delivery partners, supply chain representatives and Aboriginal businesses.

The purpose of the forum is to facilitate industry engagement and drive awareness of upcoming opportunities in relation to Sydney Metro projects.  This includes Ceiling and floor finishes, Painting, Landscaping, Street furniture, Tiling, Roller Shutters and many more.

This event will be a digital livestream briefing.

  • Registration is to attend the Aboriginal Business Forum (Forum) only.
  • Failure to participate in the Forum will not impact on the participation in any formal procurement process with Sydney Metro or its delivery partners.
  • Sydney Metro will initiate a separate and independent registration process for any formal procurement process for its projects.
  • Information provided at the Forum is made available to promote industry engagement with Aboriginal businesses in relation to Sydney Metro. It is subject to change and may not be relied upon by participants.
  • Sydney Metro will deal with any personal information that is collected from attendees or participants in the Forum in accordance with the Information Protection Principles under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW).
  • Details of persons and entities who have registered for the Forum will be:
    • retained by Sydney Metro for the purposes of managing the industry engagement program;
    • shared with relevant business units within Sydney Metro for purposes related to the industry engagement program; and
    • shared with third parties comprising other attendees of the Forum and Sydney Metro’s business partners for the purpose of connecting those parties (subject to Sydney Metro being provided with permission to do this),

but will not otherwise be released to third parties (subject to the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 and any other legal obligations).

Pursuant to the Surveillance Devices Act 2007, it is prohibited to record a conversation unless all parties provide their consent to the recording. Sydney Metro and the Sydney Metro staff involved in the Forum do not consent to any parties to make any recordings (audio and/or visual) of the Forum.
